The six "Continuing Sessions of the Introduction to the Centering Prayer Practice" (thirty-minute videos by Father Thomas Keating) are designed to deepen the conceptual understanding of contemplation and Centering Prayer.
Contemplative Outreach of Connecticut is offering this series of three Zoom sessions to those who have recently completed an complete Introduction of Centering Prayer Workshop and especially to those are are being formed as Presenters of Centering Prayer.
In these sessions, Fr. Thomas Keating offers an explanation of Centering Prayer which serves to support an emerging daily practice of Centering Prayer.
The Continuing Sessions provide support and conceptual background as well as the opportunity to share the initial Centering Prayer experience with others who have made a similar commitment.
These Continuing Sessions are offered on zoom. This program includes six, two-hour meetings so that participants have time to become grounded in their personal Centering Prayer practice. The six meetings include 20 minutes of Centering Prayer, review of a Father Keating video and group sharing.

Your facilitators for these sessions will be:
Tricia Knight-Bellisle is a member of the Contemplative Outreach of CT Coordinating team. Tricia is a Commissioned Presenter of Centering prayer. She originally learned the method of Centering Prayer from a student of Basil Pennington. Since 2018, Tricia has been a practicing spiritual direction and has facilitated a variety of spiritual groups.
Frank Pendolais a commissioned presenter of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina for Contemplative Outreach and serves the Contemplative Outreach of CT Coordinating team and the Contemplative Outreach International Lectio Divina Service Team. He is a Centering Prayer group facilitator. Frank currently serves as music minister at local parishes in Rhode Island. Frank loves to lend his voice in chant or song as an aid to contemplative practice with friends from various denominations and spiritual traditions. Transcripts of the DVDs are also available for purchase from Contemplative Outreach.
